Aromantic Pride Flag

The aromantic flag was designed by Cameron Whimsy in 2014. It has five horizontal stripes: green, light green, white, grey and black. Aromantic people experience little or no romantic attraction, regardless of their sexual orientation. Green was chosen because it's the opposite of red, the colour most associated with romantic love, and the light green stands for the wider aromantic spectrum. White represents platonic and aesthetic attraction and queerplatonic relationships, grey covers grey-aromantic and demiromantic people, and black represents the sexuality spectrum. Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week, held each February, is when it's most often flown. It's also a common sight next to the asexual flag at Pride events, since many people identify with both. Like most flags in this guide, the Aromantic Pride Flag is usually sold in the UK as a 5 x 3 ft (about 150 x 90 cm) polyester flag with two metal eyelets, ready for a flagpole, wall or window.
