Demigirl Pride Flag

A demigirl is someone who feels partly, but not wholly, connected to being a woman or girl, whatever gender they were assigned at birth. Like demiboy, it's a demigender identity under the non-binary umbrella. The demigirl flag mirrors the demiboy design: seven symmetrical horizontal stripes of dark grey, light grey, pink and white. It emerged online in the mid-2010s without a documented designer or official meanings. The usual reading links pink to femininity, white to agender or non-binary identity, and the greys to a partial connection to gender. It's sold mostly by specialist pride flag sellers and is often bought alongside the non-binary flag. Shades differ between makers, so check the photos. Like most flags in this guide, the Demigirl Pride Flag is usually sold in the UK as a 5 x 3 ft (about 150 x 90 cm) polyester flag with two metal eyelets, ready for a flagpole, wall or window.

What the colours mean

Dark grey	Commonly read as partial connection to gender
	Light grey	As above
Pink	Commonly read as femininity or womanhood
White	Commonly read as agender or non-binary identity

The colour bar above shows the flag's palette, not a drawing of it: chevrons, circles and symbols aren't shown. Meanings are as commonly given by the flag's designer or community, and some flags have more than one accepted reading.
