Polysexual Pride Flag

Sexuality Flags · Designed by unknown Tumblr user · 2012

The polysexual flag has three horizontal stripes: pink, green and blue. Polysexuality describes attraction to many, but not necessarily all, genders. It sits alongside bisexuality and pansexuality under the "multisexual" umbrella. The flag appeared on Tumblr in 2012. Sources disagree on which user created it, so the designer is best treated as unknown. The commonly given meanings are pink for attraction to women, blue for attraction to men, and green for attraction to non-binary people. It's a much rarer flag than the bisexual or pansexual ones, so it's mostly stocked by specialist pride flag sellers. It's flown by people who feel the word polysexual describes them better than the alternatives. Like most flags in this guide, the Polysexual Pride Flag is usually sold in the UK as a 5 x 3 ft (about 150 x 90 cm) polyester flag with two metal eyelets, ready for a flagpole, wall or window.

What the colours mean

Pink Attraction to women
Green Attraction to non-binary people
Blue Attraction to men

The colour bar above shows the flag's palette, not a drawing of it: chevrons, circles and symbols aren't shown. Meanings are as commonly given by the flag's designer or community, and some flags have more than one accepted reading.
