Skoliosexual Pride Flag

Sexuality Flags

Skoliosexual has been used to describe attraction to people who are non-binary, genderqueer or otherwise outside the gender binary. The term is contested: some people within the transgender and non-binary community dislike it because they feel it can single out their identities as an object of attraction. Some prefer the word ceterosexual instead. The flag usually sold under this name has yellow, green, white and black horizontal stripes. Common explanations link the yellow and green to non-binary and genderqueer people, and the white and black to agender and gender-neutral people, but there's no recorded designer or official definition. It's a niche flag available mainly from specialist online sellers. Like most flags in this guide, the Skoliosexual Pride Flag is usually sold in the UK as a 5 x 3 ft (about 150 x 90 cm) polyester flag with two metal eyelets, ready for a flagpole, wall or window.

What the colours mean

Yellow Commonly read as non-binary genders
Green Commonly read as genderqueer and other genders
White Commonly read as neutral or questioning genders
Black Commonly read as agender people

The colour bar above shows the flag's palette, not a drawing of it: chevrons, circles and symbols aren't shown. Meanings are as commonly given by the flag's designer or community, and some flags have more than one accepted reading.
